Town of Princeton, Mass., Selectboard Meeting Minutes
– Jan. 16, 2019 – 6:00 PM – Council on Aging
Present: Chair Richard Bisk, Karen Cruise, Edith Morgan.
6:00 PM~~Meeting called to order.
Town Buzz – The Selectboard attended this session of the Town Buzz to talk with residents about what was on their mind. Two residents attended. The following topics were discussed:
- what the Facilities Steering Committee Phase 2 is working on and what JWA is being asked to do
- abandoned property
- tax title progress
- mechanics hall sale
- charter roll-out
- use of 911 during power outages
- stabilization of station 1
- abandoned truck on ball hill
- letters from the SB
- attendance at sessions such as this one
- Sonoma space
- situation with Yaglou property
Questions that were asked but not answered were:
- Is a report on back taxes going to be given, perhaps in annual report?
- can we ask Charter how many people have signed up for services?
- are town buildings staying with the internet access they got through Matrix or are they moving to charter?
- do we really call 911 if there is a power outage?
- has support been put in place for the sagging station 1 roof? This might be an issue with heavy snow expected.
